Can we do a restart?!?!

Yes, I am talking about 2010. I think I need to rewind and start over. Brittany and Matthew went back to school today. They were finally able to fall asleep last night, however, I was still bright-eyed at 2:00 a.m. Boy, 5:30 a.m. rolls around quickly after 3 1/2 hrs. of sleep. I was dreading school starting back and I still do. I miss having them around all day. I miss sleeping in and the jammie days. Mainly, I dread the homework, and the rushing and running that takes place with school.

So, I thought I would get some grocery shopping done after I dropped the kids off at school. First stop--Target. Everything was going pretty well, checked out, and went to the car. Got situated and then went to file a coupon that came with my receipt and my coupon book is MISSING!!! Anyone that knows me, knows that this is NOT a good thing. My coupon book is always with me (well, of course, not this time). I remember having it in the seat of the cart. So I rush back into the store and frantically start checking the carts. No coupon book! Go to Guest Services to see if anyone has been gracious enough to return it-----NO! Go to cashier, ask her and check around the register---no coupon book. Go back to car and run next door to Kohl's for an errand and then call Target and ask---no coupon book. Go back into Target to search again. Still no luck. I am talking about lots of good coupons plus some good recipes that I had clipped.

Let's just hope that some honest, coupon-loving person who knows how long it takes to keep up with these things finds my coupon book and returns it. I will be calling Target again and again in hopes of it showing up. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things after my Target mishap and today was the first time I have not used coupons during grocery shopping in a long, long time.

Hoping for a much better rest of the week.

  1. Hope someone is nice enough to turn it in! I know the feeling, I left my coupon book (red) on the seat of a cart @ Target (ah-hem...also red)and didn't see it when I pushed it into the cart corral thing-y. I remebered the book when I got to Harris Teeter and wouldn't you know it, had to do a complete turn around and rush back. Lucky for me I was parked at a farther cart thing-y, and it was still there! Here's hoping you have some luck!!!
